Completing quests and fighting enemies grants the character several types of experience points (EXP) standard EXP raises a character's health and general statistics, Class EXP raises a character's assigned Class. Quests that can be accessed are limited based on the amount of Mira explored, which is tied to the main story's completion percentage. Quests are divided into story quests that advance the main narrative, affinity quests which strengthen bonds between the avatar and their comrades, small-scale missions which reward in-game money and additional features, and side quests taken from the citizens of NLA.
